NEWPORT HARBOR HOTEL & MARINA NAMED OFFICIAL HOTEL FOR 2003 NEWPORT INTERNATIONAL

(Newport, RI) – Newport Exhibition Group, an event & exhibition division
of Newport Harbor Corporation, announced that the Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina
has been named Official Hotel for the 33rd Annual Newport International Boat Show (N.I.B.S.)
which will be held from 9/11-9/14/03. N.I.B.S. is among the Top 5 largest Boat Shows
in the world and features a wide variety of boats and marine-related products and services.
Nancy Piffard, Show Director of the N.I.B.S. said, “the recent expansion of the
show to include the Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina satisfies many of our needs.
It will assist our exhibitors with lodging at a time when hotel rooms are traditionally
sold out in Newport County. It also allows us to offer expanded display space to our
existing exhibitors, new space to those exhibitors on the waiting list, and as a result,
even more exhibits and boats for our attendees.” Piffard added that Newport Exhibition
Group would also be able to offer educational seminars, a press room, and a hospitality
suite at the hotel, as well.
The management of the Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina is equally pleased with the
